WordPress 5.0 with Gutenberg is now available for download.

Gutenberg has been largely anticipated in the WordPress space for over a year. It will allow WP users to more creatively build pages without having to know much about code.

With WP 5.0 being such a big update a potentially locking users into the new experience (once they've edited a page) we encourage users to test in staging if possible.

We are offering a free staging environment on WPEngine if you want to test out Gutenberg on your site with no risk. You will have a chance to see how well your site performs on WPEngine as well.
